Trijntje Lush Hofstede – Chief Executive Officer

Trijntje (Tena) Lush Hofstede, MCPM, MCBA, CJP is Co-founder, President & Chief Executive Officer providing Executive and Business  leadership to Atocrates. Tena also leads the Atocrates Organizational Culture & Team Performance program including Project Professional Evaluations and Assessments. As part of her portfolio in Individual and Team Performance she offers small group advising and consulting in the rational & innovative mind through “Trijntje Lush Hofstede-PERSONA” as well as consulting & teaching with Bud for Organizational Culture & Performance using Hofstede Cultural Dimensions & Denison Cultural Model. She is a highly skilled career professional with over 35 years practical experience in hospital, home health, and treatment centre environments. She is computer skilled, managing heavy daily client/patient volume including assessment, counselling, appointment scheduling, and client/patient referral. Tena is proficient in all documentation/record maintenance/paperwork to ensure accuracy and client patient confidentiality. She is skilled in all major practices and procedures performed within the nursing / addictions environment. She was a key team member for the re-engineering of Lakeridge Health’s Pinewood Centre. In 1992-3 Tena, in collaboration with a group of like-minded women led by Jenny Stribiak was a founding member of the PMI Women in Project Management Specific Interest Group (SIG).

Tena graduated from the Ontario College of Nursing in 1966; Holds a McLaughlin Masters Certificate in Project Management from Durham College; A Schulich Masters Certificate in Business Analysis from York University,  and gives direction to our strategic partnership with Jungian based, Insights Global of Dundee, Scotland.

Tena received the inaugural Terry Clark Memorial Award for her distinguished contribution to the continuous improvement of the Schulich Masters Certificate Programs in Business Analysis and Project Management at York University.


W.G. Bud MacAulay Lush – Chief Solutions Architect

Bud MacAulay Lush, PhD, MSc, MCSE, CSM, FRCPM, is Co-founder, Chief Solutions Architect providing Engagement and Technical leadership to Atocrates. He is a multiple award winning international consultant/instructor.

Bud is the Creator and Owner of the Integrated Simulation Case Studies (the learning backbone) called ‘The Secret Sauce’ of the Masters Certificates in Project Management (MCPM) and Business Analysis (MCBA), Schulich Executive Education Centre, Schulich School of Business, York University. He is the creator of Canada’s first Masters Certificate in Systems Engineering in compliance with the INCOSE® standard, as well as, the content developer and chief instructor / facilitator for our project management work with Informa Canada. He has over 35 years direct working and teaching experience in integrated systems program management, corporate-enterprise wide project management, new product development initiatives, battle management / command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (BM / C4ISR) management systems. Bud has designed project management processes and control systems in many sectors including automotive, petroleum, aerospace and defense involving technologies such as robotics and automated guided vehicles (AGV’s). He frequently advises and consults in the areas of systems thinking, systems design, strategic analysis and planning, operations reviews, and organizational development. Dr. Lush has been a guest simulation designer/lecturer at the U.S. Defense Systems Management College, and USC’s Institute of Safety and Systems Management.  He holds an M.Sc in systems engineering, a Ph.D in systems management, and is a Certified ScrumMaster.

He was the Sponsor/Founder and First President of the PMI Durham Highlands Chapter based in Whitby / Oshawa Ontario, Canada. Bud is a member of PMI®, INCOSE®, IEEE®, IIBA® and Scrum Alliance®. Bud is the author of many articles delivered at conferences & seminars throughout North America and Europe. Over the past several years Bud has been sought out as a keynote on Value First (Gilb), ‘The Continuing Struggle’, Organizational Culture & Performance (Hofstede, Denison and Jung), Strategy (Stanford and MIT), Leadership and Motivational Speaker at annual general meetings for medium to large institutions and corporations.

Allison Still – Project Management + Technology

Allison Still, PMP, MCPM is Lead Project Management + Technology Instructor for Atocrates, as well as serving as a key member of our strategic management team. She leads the support of our Project Management + Technology Master Certificate (MCPM+T) Programs.

Allison is committed to providing the best experience and service possible to the students.  She employs various creative and hands-on learning techniques to

engage the students and illustrate difficult concepts.  She also provides learning support and tutoring to students requiring assistance.

Allison is proud graduate of Mechanical Engineering – Energy Management from St. Clair College. Allison is a certified member of the Project Management Institute and has obtained her MCPM certification with Distinction. Starting her career in Toronto selling energy retrofits, she transitioned to customer service, eventually creating a Canada-wide customer service team for Honeywell Building Solutions.  Her unique approach to customer service by creating a soft-ear for the customer lead to a dramatic improvement in customer loyalty and account retention

A vast and varied career coupled with a life-long drive to learn has provided Allison with a range of project management experiences.  Renewable energy, greenhouse automation, and greenhouse climate control projects to name a few.  Currently working in the cannabis industry, Allison is a Quality Assurance specialist focusing on product hazard reduction, control, and mitigation.  She is certified in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and applies HACCP principles, combined with Six Sigma methodology to the reduction of product hazards. 

Allison is passionate supporter of community theatre and arts programs.  She plays an active role in her local community theatre, participating on the board of directors, hosting fundraisers, acting, and directing.  Believing in the power of theatre, she is currently developing a theatre program for young adults with Down’s Syndrome.


Debbie Van Camp Showler – Business Analysis & MindMapping

Debbie Van Camp Showler, MCBA, CBAP is Lead Business Analysis Instructor for Atocrates, as well as serving as a key member of our strategic management team. She is a principal instructor supporting our Business Analysis Masters Certificate Programs.

She has over 15 years experience in the project environment primarily within the heavy manufacturing business sector performing as Project Manager, Advanced Business Analyst and Business Process Manager. Debbie is sought out as a subject matter expert leading strategic development, execution and operational optimization, as well as in customer management to support technical reviews and to define business utilization across the enterprise. She specializes in Customer Relationship Management, Creativity and Innovation, Quality Processes and Marketing Communications (Creation and execution of Communication Strategy and Plan).

Debbie is a Certified Master Trainer in the Buzan Mind Mapping process, an honours graduate from Durham College, University of Ontario, in Human Resources Management, and a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®), through the International Institute for Business Analysis (IIBA®). She contributed her mind mapping diagraming to her friend and colleague Jamie Nast’s first book “Idea Mapping: How to Access Your Hidden Brain Power, Learn Faster, Remember More, and Achieve Success in Business” (published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.) was released September 20, 2006. It is currently being sold around the globe and is either translated or being translated into Arabic, Russian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Japanese, and Korean.

Debbie won the top ‘Instructor in Business Analysis’ award from the Schulich School of Business, York University and its partner universities for the past five consecutive years.

In 2012, Debbie was a Triple Winner. She received the Atocrates Outstanding Professor Award for her delivery of the Masters Certificate in Business Analysis; Her fifth in a row SEEC top instructor in Business Analysis; and was bestowed the ultimate Schulich Executive Education Centre prize, the prestigious Peter Zarry Memorial Award for the best overall performance – nationally.


Granville M. Gibbons – Project Management

photo 3Granville Gibbons, BA (Queens), MCPM, PMP, MCBA, CSM is a Principal Instructor and Consultant, as well as, serving as a member of the Atocrates strategic management team. Granville has 25+ years experience in project and delivery management for the Banking and IT sectors. He has extensive experience as a manager for both major banks in Bermuda (HSBC Bermuda and N. T. Butterfield & Son). He worked with the Ascendant Group Limited, Bermuda, a publicly traded investment holding company. Ascendant Group Limited is the parent company of Bermuda Electric Light Company Limited (BELCO), Bermuda Gas & Utility Company Limited. During the period 2009-12 Granville was Head of Banking Operations and Support Services with The Bermuda Commercial Bank and during the previous decade moved from Business Analyst/Product Specialist to General Manager and eventually Managing Director, Proserve Bermuda Ltd. Proserve is a fulfillment house to several other companies, but was originally set up to provide cheque processing and digital imaging for Bermuda’s banking industry. He has worked extensively in Project, Program and Requirements Management in the IT field more specifically in Banking and Trust Operations, as well as Support Services. Granville is now based in Ottawa as a senior member of our advising and consulting team. He earned a Masters Certificate in Project Management and a Masters Certificate in Business Analysis jointly from Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business, and York University’s Schulich School of Business, Toronto. Granville has also earned professional certifications from the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP®)  and recently from Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM®).


Clément Côté – Business Analysis & Project Management – French / Bilingual 

Clément Côté, BSc, PMP, CBAP, is an Associate Instructor for Business Analysis and Project Manageemnt, Quebec, as well as serving as a key member of our strategic management team, and a senior facilitator for our project / requirements management work with Informa Canada.

Clément Côté has more than 25 years of experience project management and has specialized for the last 20 years in the field of IT project management.  His expertise includes planning, requirements management, cost control and estimating.  Clément has been involved with the development of analysis and project management systems, processes and methods.  Initially trained in engineering, he expanded into systems and information technology. He is fully bilingual (French/English)

Clément was a founding partner of PCMS Conseil, where he was in charge of project management and strategic planning.  He is now president of 2C Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in business analysis and project management. Clément holds a BSc in Construction Engineering and Management, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) by the Project Management Institute (PMI®), and a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®)


Tina L. Vigneux – Project Management

Tina L. Vigneux, BArch, FM, MCTina L. Vigneux 2014PM, PMP is an Associate Instructor with our Windsor team, as well as a Professor in the School of Engineering; School of Skilled Trades at St. Clair College. Tina is lead instructor for the Atocrates Masters Certificate in Project Management for General Contractors (MC4GC).

She is a competent and enthusiastic instructor with an aptitude for performing under pressure demonstrating a proven ability to work successfully with students, facilitators, customers, suppliers and industry professionals bringing projects from concept to completion.

Tina continues to advise and consult as an architect/designer in the areas of Architecture, Building Design & Construction, effective use of AutoCAD, as well as Project Planning, Estimating & Specifications with Mady Development Corporation; Royal Palace Homes; Masterpiece Homes; Mark B. Koppelo & Associates; Southwood Lakes Holdings Inc in Canada & the USA. Volunteer: Habitat For Humanity, New Orleans – August 2006; The United Way – St. Clair College of Applied Arts & Technology – 2002; YMCA – ‘path’ program; Architect/Project Manager- Construction finalized May 2000. Awards: United Way 2002 Campaign ‘You Are The Way’ Drouillard Road Re-development Project. Tina is a certified member of the Project Management Institute.


Anthony King – Project Management

Anthony King, CET, MCPM, PMP is an Associate Instructor, Systems Engineering / Project Management with Atocrates Project Sciences, as well as a part-time Professor in the School of Business and IT Management at Durham College. Anthony is also a highly regarded Instructor with the Atocrates Project Sciences teaching in both the Masters Certificate in Project Management (Project Leadership & Team Development) and Masters Certificate in Business Analysis (Business Analysis Communication & Relationships Management) at Durham College.

Tony has considerable expertise in managing projects in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, consumer electronics and defence programs. With over 15 years of experience, he has worked for large and medium sized Fortune 500 corporations managing projects in excess of 1.5 Million dollars. In particular, he has worked closely with the US FDA (510k), Health Canada, CSA and the European Medical Device Directives (CE) enabling the harmonization of worldwide regulatory standards for electrical devices. He has been contracted by multinational corporations to set up and manage their quality and regulatory projects. Tony has managed and successfully delivered Scientific Research and Experimental Development projects enabling the recovery of $2.4M in tax credits. He continues to advise as a principal consultant on basic and applied research projects. Tony is a certified member of the Project Management Institute and has obtained his MCPM certification. As a life-long learner Tony has also earned a Bachelors Degree in Adult Education and Digital Technology at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (Ontario Tech).


Jennifer Fetter – Project Management / Agile

Jennifer FetterJennifer Fetter, Hons BA, PMP, MCPM+T, CSM is an Associate Instructor with Atocrates, and has been responsible for facilitating the Capstone Simulation module for the Masters Certification in Project Management (MCPM) program since the fall of 2007.   Jennifer’s love and dedication for teaching has been recognized through several teaching awards including a Certificate of Teaching Excellence from Durham College in 2007-2008 and the Outstanding Professor Awards from Atocrates Institute for Project Sciences for 2009, 2010 and 2012.

Jennifer is a previous graduate of the Atocrates’ MCPM+T program (Masters Certificate in Project Management + Technology) and has maintained her PMP® status since 2005.  She has expanded her exposure to varying methodologies within the agile framework and obtained her CSM® (Certified ScrumMaster) designation in January 2010.

She is currently a Managing Consultant for IBM Global Business Services, Application Innovation Services.  Before starting with IBM, Jennifer worked for over 7 years at a web services company (non~linear creation) where she accelerated from running large-scale website projects, to running programs to being the Director of the PMO.

Jennifer contributes to the community through volunteer work with the local PMI® Durham Highlands Chapter where she holds the position of Sr. VP of Business on the Board of Directors.  Albeit her passions for Project Management and life-long learning, in her spare time Jennifer enjoys running, softball and cruises in the Caribbean (more details available on her blog at www.jenniferfetter.com).


Lloyd Mulrooney – Project Management

Lloyd Mulrooney, BSc, MCLloyd Mulrooney 2PM, MCSE, PMP is an Associate Instructor with Atocrates Project Sciences, where he contributes as a team member in systems engineering and project management. Lloyd has considerable expertise in managing projects in a variety of industries. He is highly results oriented, hands-on, technically proficient professional, with proven skills as a Project Manager, Project Leader, Systems Analyst, Applications Programmer and System Programmer. A graduate of Business Administration and Computer Science with over fifteen years of progressive experience within the IT industry, supported by a proven track record in the development and implementation of information technology to meet operational requirements. Lloyd is skilled in Project Management (Masters Certificate Project Management – Valedictorian); Budgeting; System Analysis, Integration, Design, Development, Maintenance, Support Implementation and Documentation; Hardware/Software Testing, Troubleshooting, and Staff Training/Development. He is a strategic planner and participative individual with the ability to manage progressive change within diverse business environments and provide the leadership and vision to achieve corporate objectives. He possess excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and time management skills.


Ron Gavrin – Engineering Project Management

Ron GavrinRon Gavrin, PEng, MBA, DBA (candidate), PMP, RMP, CCE, CMRP, CQA, MRICS is an Associate Instructor for Project Management and Systems Engineering with Atocrates, giving leadership to our Risk and Complexity initiatives. Ron has over 30 years technical and business experience, working in large industries across Canada, including Pulp and Paper, Mining, Petrochemicals, Oil Sands and Utilities. 28 years in Ontario Hydro/OPG included positions as the Business Superintendent for Darlington Nuclear Station and Project Controls Manager for Major Nuclear Projects.

Ron currently consults and teaches/trains about business processes (eg project management, plant management, mentoring, infrastructure, etc) and is adjunct faculty at the University of Waterloo. Ron also mentors in project management and provides orientation for new immigrant professionals. He is on the Board for the Hamilton Chapter of the SMRP. Ron is currently completing his Doctor of Business Administration.

Ron is certified by PMI® in Project Management, and Risk Management and by AACE® in Cost Engineering. He is a Quality Auditor and certified in Maintenance and Reliability practices. He also teaches English as a Second Language to immigrant professionals. He has published and presented several papers:  Nuclear Plant Management using Project Management Techniques, Nuclear Estimating Under Great Uncertainty and Mentoring Programs.
