W.G.M. (Bud) Lush, PH.D,
MCPM Dr. Lush is the President of Atocrates, Inc. and has over twenty-five years
of industry experience in management, project management, consulting, and training.
He has an excellent record for delivering solutions to diverse problems. His creativity,
leadership, energy, tenacity, and effective communication and presentation skills
allow him to work well with staff and management at all
levels. Dr. Lush is a skilled
facilitator and accomplished trainer. He has used his knowledge and skills in project
management and applied simulation systems theory to develop and deliver a complete
masters level curriculum in project and program management training to clients in
Canada the USA, and Europe.
Dr. Lush has participated in all phases of information, and management systems development
and has gained exceptional skills in twenty years of advising, leading, and managing
client projects.
His project experience has covered a wide range of applications and technologies.
Application experience includes human resources information systems, communications
products, research organizations, petro-chemical enterprise wide quality program, pipeline traffic management, command, control, communications, and intelligence
(C3I) management systems, and project management processes and control systems for
manufacturing engineering in the automotive and aerospace and defence sectors.
Dr. Lush has worked with technologies including client-server, database systems,
mainframe- mini- and microcomputer systems, robotics and automated-guided-vehicles
(AGVs). Management consulting engagements have included strategic analysis and planning,
operations reviews, organizational development, training, and manufacturing engineering.
Recent
successes include advising the design, development and implementation of
a corporate wide Project Management Framework for a Regional Government in Ontario
including complete integration methodology, and training program for all staff levels
Dr. Lush has his PH.D. in Systems Management (Human factors) degree, and a Masters
Certificate in Project Management and is an Associate Fellow of the Institute of
Canadian Bankers.
Glynnis De Jong, PMP
Glynnis De Jong is the Vice-President of Business Development for Atocrates, Inc.
and the Director of Consulting. Ms. De Jong has extensive Project Management and
Technical experience with various external client projects. Mrs. De Jong obtained
her Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute
(PMI) in 2001. After receiving her PMP Ms. De Jong worked with two ministries as
the Manager for Strategic I&IT and Fiscal planning. Prior to receiving her PMP,
Mrs. De Jong had worked on two long term programs for PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting
(1997-2001) as the Project Co-ordination Manager. Prior to joining Coopers &
Lybrand in 1993 she worked as a criminal database and emergency services consultant
and implementer for a Government Services agency in Ontario.
Robert Broadbent, MBA, PMP
Robert Broadbent is Director of Strategic Programs for Atocrates, Inc. and a principal
consultant with over twenty-five years of industry experience in financial and marketing
management, corporate strategy, project management, consulting, and training. Hs
is a seasoned senior executive with a proven track record in analyzing business
needs, developing a business case and structuring effective solutions for organizations
going through substantial change and transition including start up phase. Mr. Broadbent
has extensive experience in large-scale project management and service contracts
with public and private sector clients as both a supplier of services and consultant
to the customer community.
Sylvie Edwards, PMP
Sylvie Edwards is Director of Bilingual Services of Atocrates, Inc. and is a principal
consultant of the firm. Sylvie Edwards has been involved in project management in
a multitude of industries for the past 15 years including Construction, Hospitality,
Banking, Securities, Aerospace, Government and Information Technology. Sylvie previously
worked for a top 5 Consulting Firm, where she was in charge of multi million dollar
projects as well as a Manager in the Risk Management practice. Sylvie helped in
developing methodologies for Project Management Offices as well as for Projects
in Peril. She is a member of the Project Management Institute and has received her
PMP certification.
Process mapping, Training, facilitation, risk and change management as well as knowledge
management are areas that are dear to her heart and in which she spends energy and
time researching and developing.
